Welcome to Southampton

Southampton, New York, on the east end of Long Island, shines in the summer. Multiple sandy beaches and celebrities make this the place to be. The rest of the year, enjoy the museums, luxury shopping and fine dining. You can visit organic farms and sample local wines.

The town was founded in 1640, when settlers from Massachusetts established residence on lands obtained from local Shinnecock Indian Nation. The first settlers included eight men, one woman, and a boy who came ashore at Conscience Point. During the next few years (1640–43), Southampton gained another 43 families. Needless to say it has grown a little over the years….

Tutto Il Giorno - Everyone’s favorite Italian. Fun crowd and beautiful people.

Calissa - Classic  Greek/Mediterranean Seafood served with style and flair.

Sant Ambroeus - Just as good as the city. A perennial favorite. Great for lunch. A touch of Paris in the Hamptons!

Sip N Soda - What a wonderful family spot to have a burger or a salad. A total throw back. Traditional style (if you can say that) ‘soda jerk’. Try the Lime Rickey.

Stone Creek Inn (East Quogue) - makes my list although it’s a few miles west of town. First class French/Mediterranean has a seasonal menu. Surprisingly sophisticated.

Le Charlot-  French cuisine,  Lovely bar.  Great staff.  Tried and true.

Plaza Cafe-  Simple, peaceful & luxe locale for first-class seafood innovations paired with unique & local wines.

Dopo Argento- Gotta try the Berkshire Pork Chops and the Branzino....
